Ivan Molchanov joined the Forbes Developers panel discussion “This Is No Way to Live. How to Return Cities to People.”
Together with Dmytro Vasyliev and Ihor Raikov, the speakers discussed the development of Ukrainian cities, quality urban environments, the role of development, strategic planning, and transparent rules of the game for all stakeholders.
A separate focus of the discussion was FAR — Floor Area Ratio, an indicator that defines the ratio between a building’s total floor area and the size of the land plot. It can become one of the transparent tools of urban planning regulation and help connect new development with the real needs of the city.
